Ellen Rose Douglas Roweton of Bolivar, and Thomas B. Welch, '78 of Victoria, Minn., received Honorary Doctor degrees from 欧美视频 during the annual Founders' Day chapel service held Monday, March 5, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

Almeida, Rose crowned Mr. and Miss Southwest
Joao Vitor Silva de Almeida, an exercise science major from Campo Grande, Brazil, and Tali Rose, a social work major from Gainesville, Mo., won the titles of Mr. and Miss Southwest at the annual pageant on Friday, March 2, at 欧美视频.

Ellen Rose Douglas Roweton of Bolivar, and Thomas B. Welch '78, of Victoria, Minn., will receive honorary doctorates from 欧美视频 during the annual Founders' Day chapel service at 10 a.m. Monday, March 5, in Pike Auditorium. 欧美视频 awards honorary doctorates to recognize outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to society and to kingdom work.

The 欧美视频 Department of Music will present "Winds and Friends," featuring the 欧美视频 Wind Symphony, at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 8, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

Two 欧美视频 students to be crowned Mr. and Miss Southwest
欧美视频 continues the tradition of honoring one male and one female student each year at the annual Mr. and Miss Southwest Pageant, which takes place this year at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, in Pike Auditorium on the 欧美视频 campus.

Langford recognized with Honors Program brunch
Dr. Allison Langford, associate provost for teaching and learning at 欧美视频, recently was honored with a brunch recognizing her immeasurable contribution to the Gordon and Judy Dutile Honors Program at 欧美视频.
Author Suzanne Woods Fisher to present a reading, discussion on March 5
The Barnett-Padgett Literary Artist Series of 欧美视频 will be presenting author Suzanne Woods Fisher in a reading and discussion of her works from 6-7 p.m., Monday, March 5, in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.

欧美视频 CIS advisory board, career fair open doors for students
欧美视频's 2018 Computer and Information Sciences (CIS) Department Advisory Board met on Feb. 16 in the newly renovated Taylor Free Enterprise Center on the Bolivar campus, in conjunction with the Robert W. Plaster College of Business and Computer Science Spring Career Fair.
