BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥� 欧美视频 is set to graduate 218 students at two winter 2017 commencement ceremonies. The Bolivar campus will hold commencement at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, in the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center.

Dr. Kenneth J. Parker will deliver the commencement address at the Bolivar ceremony. Dr. Parker currently serves as the president of the Missouri Baptist Convention and as senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Kearney, Mo. He is the chairman of the board of trustees and adjunct professor at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is chairman of the board of trustees at The Baptist Home.

Dr. Parker was ordained into the ministry in June 1985. He has served as founding pastor of Southpointe Family Church in Fort Smith, Ark., and as pastor of Fianna Hills Baptist Church, also in Fort Smith, and First Baptist Church in Union, Mo.

Dr. Parker earned his bachelor of arts degree in church music and vocal performance in 1988 from Missouri Baptist University, his master of divinity in 1995, doctor of ministry in 2002 and master of arts in counseling in 2013 from MBTS.

He and his wife, Lori, have been married since 1988 and have two children, Zach (married to Chloe) and Luke. They have one grandchild, Ryann Kay.

The Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences of 欧美视频 will hold winter commencement at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Second Baptist Church in Springfield.

Nicholas Daigle, associate of science in nursing graduate, will deliver the Springfield campus commencement address. ASN graduate Beth Ann Frink will sing 鈥淲e Are,鈥� accompanied by Kenneth John, also an ASN graduate. Michae鈥檒a Green, a bachelor of science in nursing graduate, will also perform during the ceremony.
