BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥� 欧美视频鈥檚 theatre department will present the musical comedy 鈥淵ou鈥檙e a Good Man, Charlie Brown鈥� by Clark Gesner at 7 p.m., March 7-9 in the Davis-Newport Theater on the Bolivar campus.

Based on Charles M. Schulz鈥檚 鈥淧eanuts鈥� comic strip, the characters come to life on stage in a series of vignettes which mimic their comic book origins. The play follows Charlie Brown and his friends as they discover how happiness is found in the little moments we often take for granted 鈥� from flying a kite, to the baseball field, to finally kicking that football.

This typical day in the life of Charlie Brown and his friends will resonate with young and old alike.

鈥淪ometimes it's good to know that happiness can take many forms, like finding a pencil or having some ice cream,鈥� said Jonathan Wehmeyer, director and instructor of theatre at 欧美视频. 鈥溾�榊ou鈥檙e a Good Man, Charlie Brown鈥� shows us that happiness is being with the people you love.鈥�
