Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ

BOLIVAR, Mo. — Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ student Victoria Gonzalez, of Bolivar, was honored by the Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ University Libraries as the Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for February 2017.

University Libraries’ faculty and staff established the monthly award to recognize outstanding employment characteristics – dependability, quality of work, motivation, attitude and cooperation – demonstrated by the student assistants employed at the library.

Gonzalez, an elementary education major, received an award letter from Dr. Edward W. Walton, dean of University Libraries, a certificate of recognition and a gift. Gonzalez is a student assistant working on the Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ Periodical Index, and is one of the 30 part-time student assistants working at the library as a part of Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ’s work-study program.
