BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥 The 欧美视频 Concert Choir and Bolivar Community Choir will present a concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
Under the direction of Dr. Andrew Campbell, associate professor of music at 欧美视频, the choirs will open the program with 鈥淟ove Changes Everything,鈥 arranged by Ed Lojeski, from 鈥淎spects of Love鈥 by Andrew Lloyd Webber. 鈥淩ejoice in the Lamb,鈥 by Benjamin Britten, will feature Mary Elliot (soprano), Hollie Slagaugh (mezzo-soprano), Ian Poe (tenor) and Joel Wally (baritone), accompanied by Dr. Melinda Jones, assistant professor of music, on piano. 鈥淕o Down, Moses,鈥 by Adolphus Hailstork, will feature Cameron Collins (bass), with 鈥淪wingin鈥 with the Saints鈥 closing the program.
鈥淭he concert is about love, and that includes love for a significant other and love for your own child,鈥 Campbell said. 鈥淭he program also is sacred in nature and includes a number of spirituals at the end of the concert.鈥
The concert is free and open to the public.
