Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ

BOLIVAR, Mo. — Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ art students were awarded scholarships for the 2017-18 academic year based on works they produced for their recent scholarship show held in the Driskill Art Gallery on the Bolivar campus.

The students chose pieces to submit for viewing, which were considered for scholarships based on their skills as an artist, presentation of work and work ethic. Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ art department instructors evaluated all submitted pieces to determine the scholarship for each student. The students were also responsible for hanging the show, as well preparing their work for the show.  

Scholarship recipients include:

            Christine Winkelman, senior, Chandler, Ariz.

            Terri Dye, junior, Bolivar

            Hanna Wirth, junior, Colorado Springs

            Jessica Sanders, junior, Imperial

            Rebecca Kanies, sophomore, Harrisonville

            Jessica Hendricks, sophomore, Eldon
