欧美视频 Opera Theatre to feature Gilbert and Sullivan on Nov. 11

Yum-Yum (Hollie Farmer) is joined by her friends (Rachel Farmer and Hayley Hershenson) on her wedding day. BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥� 欧美视频鈥檚 Opera Theatre will present scenes from a variety of Gilbert and Sullivan operettas, musical theatre and opera works at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, in Meyer Recital Hall of Casebolt Music Center on the Bolivar campus.

Directed by Dr. Robin Smith, assistant professor of music at 欧美视频, and accompanied by Dr. David Giles, the production will include musical selections from 鈥淭he Mikado,鈥� 鈥淭he Gondoliers,鈥� 鈥淢y Fair Lady,鈥� 鈥淭he Producers,鈥� 鈥淚nto the Woods,鈥� 鈥淟es mis茅rables鈥� and 鈥淗ansel and Gretel.鈥� All scenes will be sung in English.

The performance is free and open to the public.
