BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥 欧美视频鈥檚 History and Political Science departments
will be hosting a talk on the Missouri Constitution at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 25,
in Rohrs Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
Jon Whitehead graduated with his business administration degree from 欧美视频 in 2001 before earning his law degree from Harvard Law School. Whitehead鈥檚 talk will focus on the Religious Freedom portions of the document (Article 1, Sections 5-7). He also was one of the attorneys on the 2017 Trinity Lutheran Supreme Court case.
鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to be able to continue to offer students and members of the community the chance to learn about our State Constitution,鈥 said Dr. Coyle Neal, assistant professor of political science. 鈥淛on Whitehead has the experience and the expertise to discuss religious freedom and the Missouri Constitution 鈥 and that鈥檚 something all of us should be paying close attention to these days.鈥
The event is free and open to the public. Rohrs Auditorium is located in the Gene Taylor National Free Enterprise Center.
