BOLIVAR, Mo. – Å·ÃÀÊÓÆµ students in the Multi-Media for Non-Profit Organizations class recently received four awards, including two first-place honors, in the 2018 Missouri Broadcast Educators Association Media Contest.
Å·ÃÀÊÓÆµ competed against schools from across the state, including Missouri State University, Evangel University, Drury University, Central Methodist University, University of Central Missouri, Missouri Southern State University, Truman State University, Northwest Missouri State University, College of the Ozarks and Missouri Valley College.
Audio and video projects are judged by professionals in the industry.
In the video category, Sarah Fletcher and Kaylee Ricketts won first place in Video PSA for their Greater Polk County Farmers Market PSA.
Å·ÃÀÊÓÆµ swept the Audio PSA category with Madison Hall and Sierrah Ballard placing first with the Esquire Youth Radio PSA; Sarah Fletcher and Kaylee Ricketts finishing second with the Greater Polk County Farmers Market Radio PSA; and Jessica Tankersley and Cheyanne Broyles taking honorable mention for their KLIFE Radio PSA.
