BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥� 欧美视频 will hold its Formal Convocation at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
Convocation marks the formal beginning of the academic year and is a time when the campus gathers to focus on 欧美视频鈥檚 mission and traditions.
Dr. Bob Glasgow, professor of mathematics and the 2017 Orien B. Hendrex Distinguished Teacher Award recipient, will deliver the convocation address.
The Faculty and Staff newcomer of the year award recipients also will be recognized. The recipients are selected based on their first months of employment at Southwest Baptist University. Recipients demonstrate exceptional commitment to the University鈥檚 mission and make a positive impact as part of the 欧美视频 family.
