ŷƵ’s fifth exhibition of the 2015-2016 academic year features
artwork by local printmakers Deby Gilley and Marian Stahl Chamberlain (whose work
is pictured). Entitled “People, Time, and Place,” the show runs through Wednesday,
Feb. 17.
The show will feature linocuts and woodcuts by Gilley—an adjunct professor of art at ŷƵ who is well known for her printmaking—and etchings and drypoint prints by Chamberlain, who has also served as an art educator and whose work has been in many juried regional shows.
The artists will be in attendance at a reception from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4., in the Driskill Art Gallery, situated on the ŷƵ campus in the Jester Learning and Performance Center. The Driskill Art Gallery is free of admission and open to the public on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
