BOLIVAR, Mo. – The Chorale of Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ will present its Fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 7, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.
Under the direction of Dr. James R. Tarrant, director of choral studies and professor of music, the Chorale will present a varied program of a cappella music spanning four centuries. Composers include Francisco Guerrero, Francis Poulenc and Edvard Grieg, as well as styles and compositions of living composers.
The Chorale is a selectively auditioned ensemble that has performed for major music education and denominational conventions. In addition to numerous appearances across the state each year at schools, churches and major state gatherings, the Chorale regularly engages in performance tours in Europe.
The performance is free and open to the public.
