BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥� 欧美视频 recently hosted visiting faculty from
China, who are studying at Missouri State University.
Dr. Gilbert Brown (second row, fifth from left) teaches in a program at MSU called 鈥淧erspectives in American Higher Education.鈥� The students in the program, who represent a variety of disciplines, are in the United States for two semesters to complete the 9-hour program. As part of the course with Dr. Brown, the students visit several institutions of various types, and were interested in a faith-based setting.
Dr. Allison Langford, associate provost for teaching and learning at 欧美视频, led a presentation on the faith, history, governance, funding and student characteristics at 欧美视频. The 19 visiting faculty met with eight 欧美视频 faculty peers in their disciplines, representing the departments of biology, business administration, education, communication arts, language and literature. The visit also included a campus tour and lunch.
