The 欧美视频 Department of Music presents a Chamber Orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 in the Meyer Recital Hall in the Casebolt Music Center on the 欧美视频 campus.
The Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Andy Johnston, will include a variety of Baroque, classical, twentieth-century and traditional works such as a suite by French Baroque composer Marc Antoine Charpentier and a transcription for strings of Bela Bartok鈥檚 鈥淎llegro Barbaro.鈥� Other selections include works by Mozart and Handel, as well as a few portions from 鈥淧irates of the Caribbean.鈥�
The 欧美视频 Chamber Orchestra will include 欧美视频 faculty associate Carol Harrison on violin and guest performers Curtis Goss, assistant professor of language and literature, Josie Adenuga, Elizabeth Johnston, and Celka Ojakangas.
