欧美视频 Honors Program Students Present Capstone Projects

Bethany Glore of High Hill, MO presenting Ten students in 欧美视频鈥檚 Gordon & Judy Dutile Honors Program presented their Senior Honors Capstone Experience projects during the 2022-2023 academic year.

鈥淭hese projects are excellent examples of the mission of the Dutile Honors Program 鈥� to challenge and support high-achieving students by fostering fierce curiosity, intellectual humility, thriving community, and holistic growth and development,鈥� said Dr. Jordan Edwards, director of the Dutile Honors Program.

鈥淭he Honors Capstone allows each student to develop a self-directed course of study and work one-on-one with a faculty member to create a project that serves as a culmination of their entire undergraduate experience. These students have all done amazing and interesting work, and I am extremely proud of all of them.鈥�

Students are admitted to the Dutile Honors Program before their freshman year through a competitive process. ores and juniors; and the Senior Honors Capstone Experience that allows students to complete a project or research in the student鈥檚 field of study, including the integration of faith and discipline.

Sarah Backer of Lebanon, MO, presented 鈥淎n Exploration of Therapeutic Interventions for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.鈥� She is the daughter of Lindsay Tucker and Kenneth Carlson.
Jared Bates of Forsyth, MO, presented 鈥淎 Beginner鈥檚 Approach to Operation System Development in Rust.鈥� He is the son of Luke and Vanessa Bates.
Tatum Bell of Kansas City, KS, presented 鈥淲riting Trauma.鈥� She is the daughter of Frank and Tricia Bell.
Andrew Eisenhour of Springfield, MO, presented 鈥淔antasy Baseball Drafting Algorithm.鈥� He is the son of Tim and Christina Eisenhour.

Rebekah Rodgers of Siloam Springs, AR, presented 鈥淏olivar Church-Based Resource List.鈥� She is the daughter of Kyle and Laura Rodgers.
Zack Wallgren of Wentzville, MO, presented 鈥淎 Change in Reality.鈥� He is the son of Jeff and Holly Wallgren.
Benjamin Yoder of Lee Summit, MO, presented 鈥淭he Impact of Weaning Methods on Calves in Response to Vaccination Against Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD).鈥� He is the son of Lance and Chloe Yoder.

The Dutile Honors Program started during the fall 2005 semester and now has 302 graduates.
