BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥 欧美视频 alumni and friends will celebrate on Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2 on the Bolivar campus.
鈥淗omecoming weekend is always full of joy and excitement,鈥 said Holly Bridge, director
of alumni engagement. 鈥淟ast year, we hosted a virtual Homecoming and while that was
fun, it is certainly more exciting to welcome alumni back to campus face-to-face.
Pre-registration has been strong and we are expecting a great group of alumni and
parents at Homecoming this year. Seeing alumni, parents of current students, and friends
of the university gathered together to fellowship and reminisce about their time at
欧美视频, makes Homecoming extra special each year.鈥
The celebration begins on Friday with Honors Chapel at 10 a.m. in Mabee Chapel. The program features the introduction of the Homecoming court and the presentation of alumni honors. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic interrupting last year鈥檚 activities, both the 2020 and 2021 Life Service Award and Edwin Lightfoot Distinguished Alumni Award recipients will be recognized.
The 2020 Life Service Awards will be presented to Teresa Marie Pratt Young 鈥61, Jane A. Hood 鈥72 and William Hooper 鈥51 (posthumously), while Bob Glidwell 鈥86 will receive the Edwin Lightfoot Distinguished Alumni Award.
