BOLIVAR, Mo. — Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ is distributing more than $1 million in coronavirus emergency relief funds to its students to help offset cost of attendance or emergency costs incurred due to coronavirus during the 2021 spring semester.

The funding is made available by the Department of Education through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund II (HEERF II), authorized by the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021 (CRRSAA) that was signed into law on Dec. 27, 2020.

Eligible students include those who are enrolled at least part time for the Spring 2021 semester, submitted a 2020-21 FAFSA with a maximum expected family contribution of $20,000 and are eligible to receive Title IV aid. These students have received communication about how to accept or decline the grant, which ranges from $550 to $850, depending on the amount of demonstrated need on the FAFSA.
