to those in need. This is our public witness to the belief that we are one chosen
people to be instruments of healing and God鈥檚 ministry of healthcare.鈥
Dr. Lee Skinkle, provost of 欧美视频, shared how he appreciates the passion and preparation nurses put into their education and careers.
鈥淥ver my many years of working alongside nurses within education, and particularly within the Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences, I鈥檝e come to appreciate many things 鈥 the passion that you bring to the task at hand, and the preparation that you鈥檝e put into succeeding in anything that you take on,鈥 Skinkle said. 鈥淚 appreciate the camaraderie that you experience with each other. And, most importantly, the desire that you have to see your patients moved on a path toward recovery, or to see their pain ease in times of duress.
鈥淭hank you, graduates, for your hard work and perseverance as you have fought to reach this point, sacrificing time that you could have spent doing many different things, often neglecting involvement with family to reach this day. Take a deep breath, reflect on how far you have come. Not even a pandemic could keep you from reaching this point. And, what we have definitely seen through the COVID crisis is the need that the world has for the caring service that you can provide.
鈥淚 have no doubt that each of you will go forth and shine both as nurses and as tremendous examples of caring Bearcats, seeking to make the world a better place.鈥
