Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ

BOLIVAR, Mo. – Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ students Ling Len and Plae Mae of Fort Worth, Texas, were honored by the Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ University Libraries as Outstanding Student Assistants of the Month for September 2019.

University Libraries’ faculty and staff established the monthly award to recognize outstanding employment characteristics – dependability, quality of work, motivation, attitude and cooperation – demonstrated by the student assistants employed at the library.

Len and Mae both are pursuing pre-licensure BSN degrees, and they each received an award letter from Dr. Edward W. Walton, dean of University Libraries, a certificate of recognition and a gift. Len and Mae are student assistants in the University Archives department and are two of the 30 part-time student assistants working at the library as a part of Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ’s work-study program.
