Expand Your Potential

Do you desire a college experience that goes beyond the classroom? Are you Ready to Lead in whatever setting God calls you? Then you could be a great candidate for Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ's President's Leadership Fellows program. This exclusive cohort of incoming freshmen will benefit from unique experiences and mentorship opportunities.

Program highlights include: 

  • Direct Mentorship: Fellows receive personalized guidance from the university president, administrators, and faculty.  
  • Interactive Workshops: Gain insights into leadership strategies, problem-solving techniques, and effective communication.  
  • Networking Opportunities: Build a strong network with university leaders, successful alumni, and industry professionals, opening doors to future internships and career opportunities.  
  • Community Engagement: Participate in service projects and leadership activities that impact the local community, building a sense of responsibility and civic engagement.  
  • Exclusive Access: Attend exclusive events, lectures, and roundtable discussions with prominent guest speakers and thought leaders.  
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with fellow students who share a passion for leadership and academic excellence, creating lifelong friendships and professional connections.  
  • Leadership Development Plan: Creates a personalized leadership development plan, with the president and faculty providing ongoing support and feedback. 

$10,000 Scholarship 

Fellows will receive a $10,000 scholarship awarded at $2,500 per year for up to four years. Renewal is dependent upon students remaining in the program in good standing, and maintaining a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA while at Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ. The PLF scholarship does not stack with performance scholarships (athletics, music, forensics).

  • Submit a minimum 750-word essay describing your leadership experience, leadership philosophy, and what you would hope to gain from the PLF experience
  • Top candidates will be selected for an interview with President Melson
