Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ offer associate's degrees in general studies for students wishing to pursue a college degree that will open up increased career opportunities and provide a foundation for further education.

The Mountain View and Salem campuses of Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ offer associate's degrees in general studies for students wishing to pursue a college degree that will open up increased career opportunities and provide a foundation for further education.

You may choose between an Associate of Arts in General Studies (includes required foreign language courses) or an Associate of Science in General Studies.

The General Studies associate's degree is offered through the Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ College of Arts and Sciences.

Degree Requirements

Associate of Arts in General Studies

Students pursuing the A.A. in General Studies degree must complete the following requirements:

  • General Education Requirements (42 hours)
  • Graduation Requirements — includes a foreign language (16-18 hours)
  • Electives (4-6 hours)

Associate of Science in General Studies

Students pursuing the A.S. in General Studies must complete the following requirements:

  • General Education Requirements (42 hours)
  • Graduation Requirements (10 hours)
  • Electives (12 hours)

Earn Your Degree at Either of These Campuses

Salem Campus

A higher education close to home for residents of Dent County and surrounding areas. Classes are taught in the afternoon and evening, making a degree at Å·ÃÀÊÓƵ-Salem attainable for people who are in the workforce.
